The Trap of the Crowd

The Trap of the Crowd

Pleasing people is a full-time job with zero benefits. It’s a hollow pursuit. You trade your soul for a nod of approval from people who will forget your name by dinner. If you’re living for the applause, you’re a slave to the audience.

Whose Approval Matters?

Striving for likes and nods is a distraction. You can’t serve two masters. If you’re busy bending your spine to fit someone else’s expectations, you aren’t standing tall for the truth.

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
Galatians 1:10

The mission is clear. You answer to the Creator, not the neighbors or the critics. One is eternal; the others are noise.

Seasoned Speech

Being direct doesn’t mean being a jerk. It means being honest. Your words should have weight. They should have flavor. Don’t dilute the truth just to make it easier for people to swallow. Keep it sharp, keep it kind, and keep it real.

“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”
Colossians 4:6

The Bottom Line

Stop auditing your life based on the opinions of the masses. Wake up, grab your coffee, and focus on what’s true. Christy and Zippy don’t need a politician; they need a man who knows who he belongs to.

The world is loud. The Word is steady. Choose the latter.
