The Weight of Your Hands
Love isn’t a feeling you wait for. It’s a choice you make and a sacrifice you carry.
We spend a lot of time talking, but talk is cheap. If you want to see what a Christ-centered life looks like, look at the hands. In the New Testament, Jesus—the Teacher and Lord—didnt just give a lecture on humility. He grabbed a basin and a towel. He did the job of a servant by washing the dust off His disciples’ feet. It was gritty, it was uncomfortable, and it was a message: No act of service is beneath you.
Living as a Witness
When we serve others, we aren’t just checking a box. We are showing the world what God’s grace looks like in real-time.
- Actions are Loud: Good deeds let your light shine more than any sermon ever could.
- True Humility: Meeting a need when it’s inconvenient is the ultimate testimony.
- The Goal: Serving says, “You matter,” and it points people back to the Father.
Love in the Trenches
Service is love in action. It’s compassion with its sleeves rolled up. When our hearts align with God’s, our simplest acts become a source of hope for those around us. Don’t just say you care. Live it out.
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
