A Quiet Morning at Causeway Coffee
Sometimes you have to leave the dog behind. We crated Zippy, left the noise of the world at the door, and headed out to find a bit of peace. We ended up at Causeway Coffee, a Christian-owned spot that trades corporate fluff for genuine atmosphere.
The Atmosphere and the Brew
The vibe inside is exactly what you want for a slow morning. It’s clean, intentional, and comfortable. We didn’t need anything fancy to start—just two iced lattes with sugar-free vanilla. They were crisp, cold, and hit the mark without being overly sweet.

The Food: Simple and Done Right
We aren’t much for complicated menus. Christy went with the Avocado Toast, piled high with fresh greens and a squeeze of lemon. I opted for the Croissant Sandwich.
In the interest of honesty, we did the logical thing: cut both in half and swapped. The croissant was flaky and held its own, but the real surprise wasn’t the main course.

Croissant Sandwich and Cucumber Side
The Star of the Show
The standout of the entire meal was the cucumber side. It sounds simple, but it was crisp, bright, and marinated perfectly. It’s the kind of side dish that makes you realize most places treat the “extra” as an afterthought. Here, it was the best thing on the table.
If you’re looking for a spot that values the sensory experience of a good meal and a quiet room, this is it.
