The Blueprint Isn’t for Us to See

The Blueprint Isn’t for Us to See

We like to ask the big question: “What is God’s plan for my life?” We want the full itinerary mapped out before we put the truck in gear. But that’s not how He operates.

Understanding the plan isn’t about seeing every turn in the road. It’s about trusting the direction from the One who built the road. Scripture makes it clear that the ultimate design is good, even when the current view looks like a storm.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

When a season gets tough and uncertainty sets in, it’s easy to lose sight of that promise. But the work happens behind the scenes. We are not accidents, and we aren’t bystanders just watching life happen to us.

Created for a Purpose

There is no room for coincidence in a life of faith. Every one of us has a specific operational order.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
— Ephesians 2:10

You were built on purpose, for a purpose. The tasks have already been set before you. The mission is to serve, walk it out, and trust the deployment.

The Hardest Part: Standing Post

The toughest part of the entire deal is the waiting. We live in a world that demands instant results and instant answers. Waiting on the Lord feels uncomfortable. It tests your resolve.

But true order unfolds on a different clock.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:11

His timing is absolute. When the clock is running down and things make zero sense, the design is still being worked out.

Secure the High Ground

Embracing this life isn’t about demanding a roadmap. It’s about trusting His sovereignty, executing the guidance we have, and standing firm on His goodness.
